MINSK GROUP CO-CHAIRS TO OUTLINE MAIN CONTRADICTIONS OVER BASIC PRINCIPLES

Co-Chairs of OSCE Minsk Group Bernard Fassier (France), Robert
Bradtke (USA), Igor Popov (Russia) and Personal Representative of OSCE
Chairperson-in-Office Anjey Kasprchik met September 29 in Warsaw with
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and later with Armenian President
Serzh Sargsyan and discussed the next steps directed toward peaceful
settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict. OSCE press service told
Armenpress that during the meetings the Co-Chairs reconfirmed their
commitments of supporting the parties, which was also mentioned
in the Deauville statement of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev,
US President Barack Obama and French President Nicolas Sarkozy.
Co-Chairs presented the OSCE ministerial assembly to be held in
the upcoming months till December. They will continue working with
the parties to draft the current main contradictions over the Basic
Principles. The Co-Chairs will also propose additional means to the
parties for strengthening the ceasefire, improvement of atmosphere
on place and increase of comprehension of peoples of the region.
For implementation of this program the Co-Chairs will visit the region
in near future.
