Lebanese parliament speaker Nabih Berri is planning an official visit
to Armenia.
According to the Lebanese based Armenian newspaper Azdak, Bari is to
arrive in Yerevan from the Iranian capital where he recently traveled
on an official visit.
Bari is scheduled to meet with President Serzh Sargsyan, Prime Minister
Tigran Sargsyan and the National Assembly speaker, Hovik Abrahamyan. At
the meeting with his Armenian counterpart, the Lebanese official will
to discuss inter-parliamentary collaboration potentials.
He will also deliver a speech at the National Assembly to address
the Armenian-Lebanese relations.
Artur Abrahamyan, a member of the Lebanese-Armenian parliamentary
friendship group, is expected to be among the delegates accompanying
the speaker.
