AZERBAIJANI MP CALLS FOR BLOCKAGE OF ROADS TO KARABAKH

An Azerbaijani MP has called on Azeris living in Iran to bloc the
roads leading to Nagorno-Karabakh.
At a parliamentary discussion on the problems of Azeris living in Iran,
Siavush Novruzov said: "They can at least bloc the way of those cars
that come from Iran's Western Azerbaijan to Nagorno-Karabakh."
The discussion was related to the drying of Lake Urmia that is
entailing ecological and social problems for the local Azeris.
The Azerbaijani MPs also criticized the Iranian government for ignoring
the problems of their compatriots in Iran.
Novruzov, in turn, called on Azeris in Iran - a total of 30 million
in number - to be more active when it comes to their social problems.
