On October 2 at 7:03 p.m. a number of cars were caught in a landslide
at the 86th kilometer of Vanadzor-Bagratashen highway near the Ayrum
railway bridge, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported. The
An operative staff has been set up at the Government~Rs decision to
provide assistance to the casualties. Probe into the details of the
accident is under way.
The Ministry of Emergency Situation reports that seven persons are
missing. The search works at the site continue.
The Government asks drivers to refrain from driving
along Vanadzor-Baghratashen highway and informs that the
Vanadzor-Dilijan-Ijevan-Bargatashen bypass can be used instead.
