HOUSING PRICES DOWN IN ARMENIA'S CAPITAL

This August, the price of apartments at block of flats averaged AMD
256.6 thousand per 1sq. meter (about US $689.8) against AMD 274.2
thousand last August and AMD 257.7 thousand this July.

According to the summary data reported by Armenia's Statistical
Service, the price of apartments at Yerevan's Center community averaged
AMD 438.2 thousand per 1sq. meter this August against AMD 462.8 last
August and AMD 440.2 thousand this July. As regards Yerevan's other
communities, the situation is as follows:

Arabkir - AMD 337.8 thousand, AMD 382,000 and AMD 344.6 thousand
respectively; Kanaker-Zeitun - AMD 262.9 thousand, AMD 290.8 thousand
and AMD 262.5 thousand respectively; Nor Nork - AMD 226.6 thousand,
AMD 236.6 thousand and AMD 226.3 thousand respectively; Avan- AMD 247.4
thousand, AMD 242.2 thousand and AMD 240.4 thousand respectively;
Erebouni - AMD 234.3 thousand, AMD 250.2 thousand and AMD 240,000
respectively; Shengavit - AMD 223.1 thousand, AMD 253 thousand and AMD
223.8 thousand; Davdashen - AMD 258.1 thousand, AMD 274.5 thousand and
AMD 260.4 thousand; Ajapnyak - AMD 221.2 thousand, AMD 234.1 thousand
and AMD 224.8 thousand; Malatia-Sebastia - AMD 227.4 thousand, AMD
242.5 thousand and AMD 257.7 thousand Nubarashen - AMD 145.4 thousand,
AMD 147.8 thousand and AMD 146.4 thousand.
