Iran cannot be a mediator in the Karabakh peace process, U.S.
Ambassador to Azerbaijan Matthew Bryza said in an interview with
SalamNews.
He stressed that Armenia and Azerbaijan support resolution of the
conflict under the mediation of the OSCE Minsk Group.
"We welcome efforts of Armenia and Azerbaijan. I think the conflict
should be solved peacefully," he said adding that resolution by
military means is impossible.
The Iranian side repeatedly expressed readiness to be a mediator in
the Karabakh peace process.
