YEREVAN MAYOR, JAPANESE COMPANY REPS DISCUSS MEDICAL CENTER PROGRAM

Yerevan Mayor Karen Karapetyan held a meeting Oct. 4 with Zhirair
Epoyan, Director of the Novek Group company.
Participating in the meeting were also Mr. D.R Park, President of the
M-TECH Corporation (Japan), Mr. So Jang-il, President of the YOUNG WOO
Corporation and Mr. Do An Kim, CEO, Engineering and Research Center,
DAE SUNG.
The sides discussed issues of establishing a modern medical center
in Armenia, using the facilities of Yerevan medical centers.
Mayor Karapetyan presented the Yerevan city hall's health care
programs, stressing the need for first-class medical centers in the
region. "I am sure that the business expectations of our partners
wishing to invest in this field will be realized as the medical market
is not restricted to Yerevan," Mayor Karapetyan said.
The guests said that they are impressed by the Armenian side's efforts
to improve the field and by the Yerevan city hall's willingness to
assist the programs.
The sides agreed that the Novek Group will soon submit an investment
program.
