KUWAIT TO OPEN EMBASSY IN ARMENIA

Kuwait will open an embassy in Armenia, Armen Gevorkyan, Armenian
Vice-Premier and Minister for Territorial Administration, said at a
joint press conference with Kuwaiti Finance Minister Mustafa Jasem
al-Shamali.
Kuwait is the first state in the Gulf to form diplomatic ties with
Armenia. The Finance Minister of Kuwait, Mustafa Jasem al-Shamali,
noted that his country is interested in Armenia.
Al-Shamali's delegation to Armenia has been on a visit since October
