Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with Speaker of the Lebanese
Parliament Nabih Berri in Yerevan, the press office of MFA reported.
Edward Nalbandian, welcoming the guest, highly assessed the
relationship between the two friendly countries, based on mutual
respect and confidence.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed a range of political and
trade and economic issues of mutual interest.
Edward Nalbandian and Nabih Berri stressed the importance of
interparliamentary cooperation for the development of interstate
relations.
Nabih Berri noted that the Armenian community plays an important role
in country's political, economic and cultural life and is a unique
link between the two states.
The Armenian FM and the Lebanese Parliament Speaker also discussed
the possibilities of settling the conflicts in the Middle East and
South Caucasus.
