VAN. - Representatives of culture and tourism departments from
Turkey's eastern provinces, local structures and representatives of
Armenian and Iranian tourist agencies took part in the "Silk road 2011"
exhibition in Van, Turkey.
Representatives of the "Armenia-Turkey cooperation movement" program
of Manufacturers and Businessmen Union of Armenia and representatives
of Turkish companies in Armenia participated in the "Silk road 2011"
exhibition, Armenian Newa-NEWS.am reporter informs from Van.
Turkish citizens and visitors from Iran showed great interest in the
stand of the Armenian delegation. Turkey's minister of culture and
tourism Ertugrul Gunay, governor of Van Munir Karaoglu, Mayor of Van
Bekir Kaya personally visited Armenia's stand.
The minister of culture and tourism opened the exhibition personally,
and welcomed the participants and reminded that there are guests
from Armenia amongst them. Other officials also welcomed the Armenian
participants.
