ARMENIANS ENRAPTURED BY FRENCH PRESIDENT'S BROKEN ARMENIAN (VIDEO)
Tert.am
07.10.11
French President Nicolas Sarkozy's visit caused great excitement in
Armenia's capital.
Traffic jams in the Yerevan center caused hundreds of people to be
late for work or classes.
Just a few hours later, however, an enthusiastic crowd gathered in
France Square in Yerevan. President Sarkozy talked to people without
any ceremonies.
Armenians, who have always loved French leaders, felt even deeper
love for Nicolas Sarkozy, when, in his broken Armenian, he uttered
"Tseghaspanutyun!" (genocide), "Ketze Hayastanyo!" (Long live Armenia)
and "Ketze France!" (Long live France).
