Thirty-two delegates to the CE Parliamentary Assembly - representatives
of France, Belgium, Austria - joined a declaration on Nagorno-Karabakh
drafted by Armenia's Representative at PACE, member of the Heritage
parliamentary group Zaruhi Postanjyan.
The declaration was signed on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of
Armenia's independence. It calls for Nagorno-Karabakh's re-involvement
in the negotiations within the OSCE Minsk Group.
"Since delegates from different countries joined the declaration,
we hope that our efforts will produce results. Nagorno-Karabakh well
be recognized, and Azerbaijan's attempts to misrepresent the problem
will fail," Armen Martirosyan, a Heritage group member, said at a
press briefing in Parliament.
