Armenia occupied Azerbaijan's lands. Now Azerbaijan has strengthened,
it has a powerful army and they remember peace and democracy",
said member of Azerbaijani delegation in GUAM Parliamentary Assembly
(GUAM PA), MP Elman Mammadov at the international conference titled
"Building bridges over borders" organized by GUAM PA and Baltic
Assembly in Baku. Saying that Azerbaijan wanted peace most of all,
Mammadov noted that Armenia didn't fulfill the decisions of the
international organizations and tried to instigate Azerbaijan to war:
"Azerbaijan will not wage a war in the territory of other country,
it will carry out anti-terror operations in its territory".
Mammadov also said that Russia has been carrying out anti-terror
operations in the North Caucasus for 20 years, along with the
militants, it bombs the civil persons: "Why does the world union
blench to it?"
Saying that he was from Khojaly city, Mammadov noted that Armenians
destroyed Khojaly in a night. He called the members of GUAM and Baltic
Assembly to be active in the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
