SUICIDE RATE IN ARMENIA 3.9 PER 100,000 PEOPLE - WHO

Armenia has been included in the ranking list of countries where
people commit suicide relatively more often.
According to the report by the World Health Organization, out of
100,000 citizens in Armenia the average rate of suicide has been put
at 3.9.
In Georgia the number is 8.8 and 1.3 in Azerbaijan.
The ranking list is headed by Lithuania (71.7), Russia (64.3) and
Belarus (57.5).
The rate of suicide is low in Iran, Haiti, Jamaica and South African
Republic.
A total of 106 have been included in the list.
