FESTIVAL OF ARMENIAN DISHES "GOLDEN LADLE" TO BE HELD IN YEREVAN ON OCTOBER 14

YEREVAN, October 11. / ARKA /. A festival of national Armenian dishes
called "Golden Ladle" will be held October 14 in Yerevan, the press
service of the Ministry of Diaspora said.
"The main purpose of the event is to help preserve and popularize
traditional Armenian cuisine and exchange experience with chefs and
culinary schools in the Diaspora, as well as to set up a Pan-Armenian
cooking organization," it said in a statement.
The festival participants will take also part in the Pan-Armenian
forum of cooks.
"The participants will discuss and approve the rules of the
Pan-Armenian organization of cooks and will make a declaration,"
the press service of the Ministry of the Diaspora said.
The festival will be organized by Armenian-French specialized training
center, the Ministry of Diaspora, as well as a public organization
set up to preserve and develop Armenian culinary traditions."
