THE BEST STUDENTS AND PUPILS OF IT SPHERE HANDED RA PRESIDENT'S EDUCATIONAL AWARDS

The award-giving ceremony of RA President to the best students and
pupils of IT sphere of Armenia was held today at the presidential
residence. A number of classes and awards have been defined for the
winners by "Synopsis Armenia" company, including the general award,
nominations of the best aspirant, holder of master's degree, holder
of bachelor's degree, Diaspora-Armenian participant, the best student
and pupil. 125 students and 70 pupils pretended awards, but overall
38 were awarded.
Twenty-three award winners present the State Architectural University
of Armenia, Yerevan State University, architectural faculty of the
American University of Armenia, Armenian-Russian (Slavonic) State
University and European Regional Educational Academy. Fifteen pupils
have been selected from educational establishments with technical
inclination.
Together with certificates the head of the country also handed special
statues symbolizing the IT sphere to the winners. The latter also
received monetary awards. Welcoming the young people, the Armenian
President wished this recognition to be the first step in their life,
which will be rich in achievements and victories. According to him,
the example of these young people should be contagious for friends
and surrounding people.
According to Executive Director of "Synopsis Armenia" company Hovik
Musayelyan, the award winning young people are very talented. "The main
mission of this award-giving ceremony is revelation and encouragement
of the best students from universities of technical inclination,"
Hovik Musayelyan said, adding that today's award--giving ceremony is
peculiar, as the selecting commission has paid high attention to the
patriotic behavior of the participants, their patriotic merits, to
the thing how much they tie their future with this country. Executive
Director of "Synopsis Armenia" company noted that the winners are
singled out by their knowledge, ability to consider and analyze.
