The positive assessment of the public toward the spheres of education
and science has increased by 12.5%, Minister of Education and Science
Armen Ashotyan told a news conference today.
"It is the biggest flight during the recent months which testifies
that our work is noticeable not only by specialists but the public
as well", the minister said.
According to him, the other positive index is that the ministry
continues being the leading one among the others with its transparency
and availability. "The assessment of the public is very important over
the corruption in the education system, violation of laws and a great
work was done here. According to the assessment of the public, the
level of perception of corruption has noticeably decreased in school
and universities. At the same time I want to stress that corruption
remains the serious challenge in universities," Ashotyan said.
According to him, the fighting against corruption phenomena is
multi-sided, for overcoming it stubborn, successive efforts are
necessary.
