    Oct 12, 2011

YEREVAN, October 12. /ARKA/. Customs declarations between Armenia,
Iran and Georgia will be on one language, Karen Beglaryan, head of a
department in the State Revenue Committee, said at a meeting convened
to look into the pace of implementation of customs reform.

According to him, the work on the development of unified customs
documentation will be conducted within the framework of reforms in
tax and customs systems of Armenia for 2011-2013.

He said customs declarations issued in one country will be accepted
by another country without requiring additional documents.

He said working groups have been set up in all three countries to
develop common approaches. They will develop a single document and
harmonize legislations in the customs area.

The program of reforms provides for bringing the national tax and
customs legislation with conformity with EU standards, introduction of
a risk management system, a unified system of electronic declaration
and payment, facilitation of customs control, formation of Dog Training
Center, modernization of border checkpoints, introduction of unified
    customs declarations for neighboring countries.
