ZHAMANAK: DAMAGING EVIDENCE
Tert.am
11:13 ~U 12.10.11
Referring to anonymous sources, the newspaper reported that Armenia's
Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Security Service are involved
in the work aimed at bringing back the Armenian citizens that left
the country.
The aim is to conceal the real number of emigrants from the public.
According to another source, the aim is to gather damaging evidence of
the opposition parties' "business" activities. Over the recent period,
documents proving membership in persecuted political parties have
been "an effective means" of seeking political asylum in European
countries. "So the aim is to find out if the parties did not sell
membership cards," the newspaper writes.
