ARMENIA-TURKEY PROTOCOLS MAY BE BACK ON AGENDA - TURKISH MINISTER

The Zurich protocols, signed between Turkey and Armenia, have not
disappeared anywhere, Turkey's EU minister has said.
Egemen Bagish told the Azerbaijani news agency APA that the documents
which had earlier been withdrawn from the country's parliament may
be back on the agenda.
Linking the process with the the Nagorno-Karabakh issue settlement, the
Turkish officials said his country would take necessary steps in that
direction in case it sees progress in the conflict settlement process.
"It is first of all necessary to end the conflict between Armenia
and Azerbaijan and the liberate the Azerbaijani territories," he noted.
The Protocols on the Normalization of Ties and Opening of the Border
between Armenia andT urkey were signed in Zurich, Switzerland on
October 10, 2009.
