    HE LOVED ARMENIA - NEWSPAPER

YEREVAN. - Former French MP and long-standing friend of the Armenian
people, Henri Saby, who passed away in June, had left a will thereby
requesting that he be buried in Armenia and Artsakh (Karabakh),
    Yerkir daily writes.

"The urn containing his ashes is in Armenia these days. Some of his
ashes will be laid to rest at [capital] Yerevan's Civic Pantheon,
on October 19, and the remaining ashes, according to his will, will
    be interred in Artsakh.

Henri Saby, who has no Armenian roots, carried out pro-Armenian
activities throughout his actions. It was through his efforts that
the European Parliament had examined and approved the resolution on
"Political Solution of the Armenian Question," where what happened to
the Armenians in the Ottoman Empire, from 1915 to 1917, was considered
Genocide. Saby also played a great role in the European Parliament's
adoption-during the Artsakh movement-of a variety of resolutions
defending the rights of Artsakh Armenians," Yerkir writes.
