HUSBAND GETS 10 YEARS IN PRISON FOR MURDERING HIS WIFE

The Court of First Instance of Ararat and Vayots Dzor provinces has
sentenced Yanis Sarkisov to ten years in prison.
Sarkisov was found guilty of murdering his own wife, Zaruhi Petrosyan.
Petrosyan, 20, was beaten to death in September in 2010.
Both Sarkisov and his mother, who is also accused of having taken
part in regular beatings of Zaruhi Petrosyan, deny accusations.
