Sitting of the inter-agency commission set up for the coordination of
cooperation with the European establishments took place today chaired
by the Secretary of the National Security Council Arthur Baghdasaryan.
Head of the EU's delegation to Armenia Raul de Luzenberger partook
in the sitting.
Raul de Luzenberger pointed out that Armenia appropriately implements
its commitments and he is convinced that the country will continue
working in the same way in future as well. "Up to now 170 joint
agreements have been implemented, 140 are in process and another 20
must be implemented," Raul de Luzenberger said, adding that point
by point Armenia is implementing commitments of the concept of the
EU cooperation.
Referring to the end of his mission in Armenia, Luzenberger said that
Armenia has become his home. "I am leaving Armenia. I leave it with
the sense of longing as in a corner of my heart I will keep here's
warmth. Even my 12-year old daughter who is living in Armenia for a
long time considers this country her new home. I am moving to Brussels
and all may know that on behalf of me Armenia has a good friend there,"
he said.
