Armenia
The Ukrainian Supreme Rada (Parliament) passed a bill on October 7,
whereby customs duties for the export of grain and corn are canceled.
As a result, Ukrainian wheat could compete with Russian one in the
Black Sea area.
The exporters, however, are trying to maintain grain prices,
and therefore the Ukrainian proposal would hardly change regional
conjuncture and seriously impact Armenia's grain imports.
