OVER 620 THOUSAND SUBSCRIBERS CONNECTED TO GAS NETWORK OF ARMENIA- "ARMROSGAZPROM"

YEREVAN, October 17. /ARKA/. To the gas network of Armenia as of
October 1, 2011 are connected 620 241 subscribers, press-service of
ArmRosgazprom informed ARKA News Agency.
During the first 9 months of 2011 the number of actual gas consumers
of ArmRosgazprom cjsc increased by 7384, of which 1064 subscribers
got connected to the network in September. "On monthly basis this
indicator was the highest in nine months", states the press-release.
Armenia is within the group of first three by gasification level.
"ArmRosGazprom" is a monopolist in the delivery and distribution
of Russian natural gas in the Armenian market delivered by transit
through Georgia. The company was founded in 1997, its shareholders are
"Gazprom" and the Armenian government.
