REPUBLICAN PARTY TO DISCUSSS FUTURE OF RULING COALITION

At a press conference held today in Yerevan, Hovhannes Sahakyan,
who heads the Republican Party parliamentary faction, said that his
party would take up the matter regarding the future of the current
ruling coalition at its executive session on Thursday.
Sahakyan said that the party would make a public statement afterwards.
The press in Armenia has been consistently reporting that the
Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP), a junior coalition member, will be
pulling out.
Nayira Zohrabyan, who heads the PAP's parliamentary faction, told
Hetq that she would only respond to statements made by authorized
representatives of the Republican Party.
