AREXIMBANK-GAZPROMBANK GROUP PLANS TO INCREASE ITS LOAN PORTFOLIO BY 40% TO 70 BILLION DRAMS

YEREVAN, October 17. / ARKA /. Russian-owned Areximbank-Gazprombank
Group said in a press release today it plans to increase its
outstanding loan portfolio by 40% before yearend (including credit
lines), compared with 2010 and bring it to 70 billion drams.
The bank said it had provided as of October 1 a total of 63.8 billion
drams in loans (including credit lines), which made 74.6% of its
assets, thereby ensuring a 2.4% growth in the third quarter. The
growth from the beginning of the year was 29.9%.
Areximbank-Gazprombank Group's total capital on October 1, 2011
stood at 14.9 billion drams, the assets at 85.5 billion drams and
liabilities at 70.6 billion drams. In the first nine months the bank
earned 683.5 million drams in net profit. ($1 - 375.16 drams).
