The album of monuments of the Armenian Ani capital will be released in
about a month as part of the events dedicated to the 1050th anniversary
of proclamation of Ani as the capital of Bagratuni Kingdom.
The album will include 670 photos and maps, expert of monuments Samvel
Karapetyan told reporters today.
"It is a 250-page illustrated book in three languages - Armenian,
Russian and English," he said.
A calendar picturing the monuments of Ani has already been issued at
the initiative of the Armenian Ministry of Culture.
Although a number of works on the capital of Bagratuni Dynasty have
been published so far, Samvel Karapetyan says that "Ani is a historic
site, which can be studied endlessly."
