EX-COACH OF AZERI WUSHU SQUAD ARRESTED FOR ARMENIAN POLICEMAN'S MURDER

PanARMENIAN.Net - Double Wushu-sanda world and European champion,
former head coach of Azerbaijani national team Janpolad Budagov was
detained in Moscow on murder charges.
According to investigators, during a fight in August 2011, Budagov,
aged 40, stabbed a 25-year-old Armenian-born Samara policeman Samvel
Mehrabov to death.
When detained, Budagov pleaded guilty to murder and was put under
arrest.
According to earlier reports, Budagov was wanted on charges of
hooliganism with a criminal case launched against him. At the time
the ex-coach was reported to be in Russia.
