CIS Interior Ministers recently held a meeting in Yerevan.
Azerbaijani Minister of the Interior Ramil Usubov participated in
the meeting as well.
The newspaper reports an interesting incident. Chief of Armenia's
Police Alik Sargsyan invited the participants to a restaurant for
supper. Mr. Sargsyan als invited some Armenian crooners. One of them,
Vardan Badalyan, sang a song about Karabakh, repeating the word
"Karabakh" in the refrain.
The Azeri delegation lost their appetite and expressed their
discontent. The Armenian delegation found themselves in an awkward
situation and had to explain that the song had no "political
implications."
