ARMENIAN WRESTLERS PREPARING FOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

Armenian men weightlifting team has left for Podolsk region, Moscow
to be trained for the forthcoming World Championships. The Armenian
team will then leave for Paris, where the World Championship will be
held and London 2012 Olympic qualifications competed.
Armenian men team includes Vanik Avetisyan (69kg), Samvel Grigoryan
(69kg), Tigran Martirosyan (77kg), Hayk Hakobyan (super weight)
and Ruben Aleksanyan (super weight), Arakel Mirzoyan (77kg), Arayik
Mirzoyan (85kg). The team is chaired by Coach Poghos Poghosyan,
Pashik Alaverdyan and Aleksan Karapetyan.
Armenian women team is headed by Coach Artashes Nersisyan and Arman
Ghazaryan. The team is trained in the city of Abovyan including
Isabella Yalyan (53kg), Alla Samvelyan (58kg), Meline Daluzyan (69kg),
Hripsime Khurshudyan and Naira Harutyunyan (+75kg).
