Years Ago a Dream, Today a Home Blessing

19 October, 2011, Kotayk Region, Mayakovski community: thanks to Fuller
Center for Housing Armenia His Holiness Karekin II «Build on Faith» Work
Project today one more family celebrated housewarming.

The dream of so many years now came true: today Ghazaryan family celebrates
home blessing; extended family that has been living in the paternal house
with the parents and brothers (11 people in one small house) for many years,
but hasn't been able to complete the half-built house construction because
    of financial difficulties.

Today one more family left behind `the status of a homeless', today three
more children got the opportunity to build sustainable future.

The Ghazaryan family house was built by financial means of the Eastern
Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church of Northern America comunity and
KPMG Armenia. To the house construction also supported members from US
Embassy in Armenia and IREX international organization.

Cooperation between the Armenian Apostolic Church and Fuller Center for
Housing Armenia started in 2009 and up to now 28 families have completed the
construction of their half-built houses in the frames of this project; the
construction of 6 family houses is in process.

`We are partnering with the Armenian Apostolic Church already many years; a
partnership that helps many families to build their homes and rebuild their
lives' Fuller Center for Housing Armenia President Ashot Yeghiazaryan said.

The communities of Eastern Diocese of America have supported both
financially and by involving volunteers. Volunteers from the churches of St.
Leon in New Jersey, St. John in Michigan, St. Mesrob in Wisconsin, St.
Sahagin Minnesota and others also joined.

`We express our gratitude to our sisters and brothers for their investment,
for the care towards their motherland, for helping those in need' His
    Holiness said.
