Societal explosion in Azerbaijan?

BAKU. - Results of the Azerbaijani authorities' `successful' economic
policy are evident specifically in Azerbaijan's remote regions. The
violations and shams by local authorities and officials, as well as
the growing unemployment and huge corruption have resulted in dire
economic conditions and brought forth tension, which could cause a
societal explosion, Polygon agency of Azerbaijan writes.
`Tension has reached such level that a societal explosion is quite
likely. It is interesting that the governing structures are also
informed of this, yet they take no steps to prevent this process,' the
aforesaid source states.
And all those special groups, which are formed in the socially tense
regions, could even take radical actions, Polygon writes.
