Bako Sahakyan meets Minsk Group co-chairs

President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR, Artsakh) Bako
Sahakyan received on Saturday the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group,
Ambassadors Robert Bradtke (USA), Igor Popov (Russian Federation) and
Bernard Fassier (France).
According to a press release by the NKR presidential office, issues
related to the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict settlement and regional
developments were discussed at the meeting.
The president told the co-chairs that Azerbaijan continues the
anti-Armenian and anti-Karabakh propaganda, violating the Ceasefire
Accord and boosting its militarization, thus seriously impeding the
conflict settlement process and the maintenance of regional and
international security.
Sahakyan emphasized that bringing Azerbaijan to the constructive
stream is a key issue in Karabakh settlement.
The parties mutually stressed the importance of continuing the
negotiation process based on a direct dialogue and without the use of
force.
The noted further that that securing a tangible progress requires an
atmosphere of mutual trust and to that end, highlighted the importance
of taking relevant steps in that direction.
The meeting was also attended by the NKR acting foreign minister,
Vassily Atajanyan, the Atajanyan, personal representative of the OSCE
chairman-in-office Andrzej Kasprzyk, and other officials.
