MINISTER SUGGESTS CREATING SALE AND SERVICE CENTRE OF AGRICULTURAL EQUIPMENT

Armenia's Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan has suggested
at a meeting with Belarusian Ambassador to Armenia Stepan Sukharenko
creating a Belarusian sale and service centre of agricultural equipment
in Armenia.
Karapetyan said that the creation of the centre is important given
Armenia is currently in need of modernization and renewal of its
agricultural equipment.
Further, he noted that 61 tractors imported from Belarus have already
been distributed to cooperatives, adding that Armenia might import
another batch of tractors.
Sergo Karapetyan also said that Armenia and Belarus can cooperation
in almost all the branches in agriculture, highlighting the importance
of cooperation over agricultural equipment.
Stepan Sukharenko, in turn, said he highly appreciates the agricultural
programs implement by the government of Armenia and offered to use
the scientific experience of Belarus in the sphere.
