national cinema month will soon wrap up, and we may already state
that this year the program has made outstanding progress. Director of
National Cinema Center of Armenia Gevorg Gevorgyan told Armenpress that
there was activeness especially toward the showings held in provinces,

of film showings in provinces, a number of governors and mayors have
already assured they will do their best to set up permanently working
cinemas. "This is truly a big achievement," he noted.

To remind, the program launched September 24 at the hall of Goris
State Theater by showing of "The Vana Sea Dawn" film. The program

documentary, animation and children's films are shown in provinces
of Armenia and in Yerevan communities, exclusive materials from film
archives are presented, anniversary soirees , as well as creative
meetings, and book presentations are organized.
