The statement of the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev that at the
parade organized in Armenia the tanks passed on carriers as they were
not in a proper state is amusing and senseless causing smile of every
serious specialist, military expert Davit Jamalyan told Armenpress
commenting on the statement of the Azerbaijani president.
According to him, the generated mind of the political circles of
Azerbaijan could not make up a more powerful argument than the improper
state of Armenia's tanks. "It is a standard Azerbaijani-Turkish
mentality," the military expert stressed.
Azerbaijani president also called Armenia an outpost meaning that
Russian border guard troops also participated in the parade in Yerevan.
"First, it is known that Azerbaijan is trying to label the
Armenian-Russian strategic alliance for humiliating it. They present
the Armenian-Russian relations in the context of secondary-primary. If
so, Azerbaijan is outpost of British Petrolium - just a territory from
where oil is being exported, not more. While the allied nature of the
Armenian-Russian relations is based on strategic interests. Armenia is
as much interested in having good relations with Russia as the latter
is. Thus, we should not pay attention to Azerbaijan's provocations,"
Jamalyan stressed.
He also added that the Armenian Armed Forces did not show everything
they have. "They presented what they thought is necessary to present.
They presented what is enough for maintaining the balance of forces
and enough for restricting the aggressive strives," the expert said.
