MEDVEDEV, SARGSYAN TO FOCUS ON MULTIFACETED COOPERATION

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has proposed his Armenian counterpart
Serzh Sargsyan to discuss the whole range of issues of the two
countries' cooperation.
"...Today we will hold full-scale narrow-format and wide-format talks,
touch upon all issues of bilateral and interregional cooperation. Of
course, we will focus on economic, military-technical cooperation,
discuss our multifaceted ties and how to draw out the priorities within
the framework of regional forums, including our allied structures such
as the Collective Security Treaty Organization," he said opening the
talks in the Kremlin on Monday.
Medvedev expressed confidence that this visit symbolizes relations
of strategic partnership that interconnect Russia and Armenia and
demonstrate important achievements made recently.
"Undoubtedly, this year in the history of our relations is very
significant because it was marked by the whole range of important
decisions concerning multifaceted interaction between our two
countries," he said.
