EX-CONSUL GENERAL OF AZERBAIJAN IN ISTANBUL: KURDS TO HAVE STATEHOOD SOONER OR LATER

Ex-Consul General of Azerbaijan in Istanbul, member of the Union of
Azerbaijani Writers Kheyraddin Goja has made a sensational statement.
Goja commented on the latest developments concerning the Kurdistan
Workers Party (PKK), saying that the Kurds should establish statehood,
justifying the actions of PKK.
"The Kurds are also a people, and they will have statehood sooner or
later. That state should be created and will be created by all means,
but I find it difficult to say when this will happen. This may take
100 years," Bizimyol.az quoted Goja as saying.
