Turkish tanks and armored vehicles have reportedly crossed into
northern Iraq, Turkish and international media say.
Reports say the armored convoy was headed in the direction of a
Kurdish militant camp at Haftanin, around 20 kilometers inside Iraq.
The incursion on October 24 came as cross-border operations continued
in the wake of last week's attack by Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK)
fighters which killed 24 Turkish soldiers, according to Radio Liberty.
