LEGENDARY VIOLINIST PINCHAS ZUKERMAN IS IN ARMENIA

YEREVAN. - Within the framework of the Yerevan Perspectives 12th
International Music Festival, world renowned violinist, and winner
of two Grammy Awards, Pinchas Zukerman will perform, in the Armenian
capital Yerevan on Wednesday, together with the State Philharmonic
Orchestra of Armenia, the Festival's artistic director Stepan Rostomyan
stated during a press conference. Reflecting on today's concert,
the press conference's other speaker, the legendary violinist Pinchas
Zukerman noted he will perform with a wonderful orchestra.
Zukerman also recalled the Armenian cellist, and winner of the 14th
International Tchaikovsky Competition, Narek Hakhnazaryan, saying
that he invited him to Canada to perform with him.
The famous violinist was last in Armenia 1.5 years ago, and, in his
words, this time Yerevan has become more beautiful and lively.
