PARIS. - Armenian News-NEWS.am publishes statement by the Coordination
Council of Armenian organizations in France (CCAF) on false information
about the split of the organization.
"It is already for the second time that French edition of the Internet
newspaper "Noyan Tapan becomes tools of rude manipulations. It makes
readers believe that CCAF is splitting. According to the newspaper,
the two co-chairs of the organization Murad Papazyan and Ara Toranyan
participate with nickname in the debate on Armenews forum. However,
both co-chairs rejected the false information.
CCAF condemns these maneuvers, which are done with the goal of making
a split and expand defamation. Information has been diffused for
about several months by the newspaper and the person who finances it
(Raymond Yezegelyan).
The organization is also surprised by the fact that the Armenian
publication Noyan Tapan is a co-participant of such maneuvers.
Moreover, the Union of French citizens abroad by whose name the
newspaper is published, agrees with the expanded manipulation,"
the CCAF statement reads.
