"First, Israeli "Debkafile" is an unknown site and quite maybe the
story is of Azerbaijani "origin"; second, the site could be a fake
Israeli site. But still for Israel it would be quite preferable that
Russian special services had destroyed the UAV than the Armenian
air forces," military expert Artsrun Hovhannisyan told Panorama.am
referring to rumors that on September 12 Russian forces destroyed
Azerbaijani UAV in the territory of NK.
Expert has considered it natural that they were alarmed - such a
small country could create those equipments.
"But I'd advise them to remember their own triumph. We also implement
the program of our triumph, although we're a small country. It has been
repeatedly stated that we're launching our own military industrial
complex; we'll make them surprised by our achievements. UAV isn't
the only thing; we'll have other achievements also. Or maybe the
Russians have destroyed air targets in Ashuluk on that very day?" A.
Hovhannisyan wondered.
According to the expert the story confirms that Azerbaijani UAV has
violated the ceasefire regime.
"In these conditions it's a serious charge, which should be focused
on by the international community. This is the reason why similar
stories don't appear in Azerbaijani websites. Another evidence is
that the site indicates only 60 delivered UAVs. Every year Israel
delivers hundreds of similar vehicles to different parts of the world,
the great part of which is more powerful than those delivered to
Azerbaijan. But they don't always mention it with arrogance.
Israel hasn't yet delivered UAV with military rockets to any country.
Thus it's doubtful that the story is Israeli," said the expert.
On September 12 NKR Defense Army air defense forces have destroyed an
Azerbaijani UAV near the village of Vazgenashen, Martuni. Azerbaijan
declined the news which made the NKR DA to publish photos of the
destroyed unmanned jet.
