Russia does not mediate normalization between Armenia and Turkey,
Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said on Thursday.
He was asked whether the recent joint telephone call of the Russian
and Armenian presidents to the Turkish leader was proof of Moscow's
assistance to the Armenia-Turkey normalization.
"As far as I know, the telephone call of Dmitry Medvedev and Serzh
Sargsyan aimed to present condolences [over the Turkish quake],"
he said.
"I would not say it is a mediation of some kind," he remarked.
