Addressing the board meeting of the Ministry of Defense, Minister
Seyran Ohanyan dwelled on the public discussion of the problems of
the army.
The minister of defense said: "We understand and admit constructive
criticism by the society after some accidents in the army. Moreover,
this criticism is useful and we must learn a lesson. But we consider
it unacceptable when certain groups manipulate intentionally the
problems of the army on a daily basis. The ministry of defense is
going to be stricter to those people who defame the army, and if these
people try to harm the army by spreading false information and libel,
their legal responsible will be inevitable."
