TIGRAN SARGSYAN RECEIVES DELEGATION OF CIVIC CHAMBER OF RUSSIA

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 28, ARMENPRESS:Armenian Prime Minister Tigran
Sargsyan received today the delegation of the Civic Chamber of
Russian Federation, led by Deputy Secretary of the Civic Chamber
Mikhail Ostrovsky. The members of the Civic Chamber of Russia are in
Armenia at the invitation of the Public Council of Armenia.
Governmental press service of Armenia told Armenpress that welcoming
the guests on behalf of the government, Tigran Sargsyan noted,
"We are happy that productive relations are developed between the
public councils of our countries. We attentively follow that process,
as it is a new institute in Armenia, and support in consolidation".
The Prime Minister expressed confidence that a dialogue at such
a level will promote development of new ideas in the direction of
strengthening of the bilateral cooperation and ties.
Expressing gratitude for the reception and invitation to visit Armenia,
the Deputy Secretary of the Civic Chamber Mikhail Ostrovsky informed
that a trilateral cooperation agreement has been signed between the
analogous structures of Armenia, Russia and Ukraine, which can be
considered as a first step of establishment of "Eurasian Consortium
of Civil Society".
Concluding the meeting Prime Minister Sargsyan welcomed the signing
of the trilateral agreement and stressed that extension of suchlike
cooperation is a good opportunity for experience exchange and
enhancement of ties.
