L. SHIRINYAN: TURKEY MISLEADS INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY FROM ARMENIAN CAUSE

"In 1876 Armenian Cause has become a part of European policy, then
it turned into massacre, amendments, Genocide, Treaty of Sèvres and
finally in Lausanne it became a case for protection of the rights of
minorities," Professor Levon Shirinyan said today in a news conference
making his remarks on Turkish decree to return the properties of
religious minorities.
According to him this is in fact an attempt to mislead from the
general ideology of Armenian Cause; to demonstrate an attempt for
reconciliation.
"Turkish policy is left inside of Kemal's principles - no concessions
in the Armenian Cause," Professor said.
