Armenian radio listeners have become champions in the Shortwave Radio
Frequency World Cup.
According to the intergovernmental TV and radio company Mir,
the contest had attracted 250,000 participants from 150 world
countries.They all participated in the World Cup from their own
countries
To prevent channel disruptions in Armenia, the Morse alphabet
competition was held at an altitude of 1,750 meters above the sea
level.
The Armenian team was recognized the best in radio sport. Russians
won the second, third and fourth places. The Ukrainians won the
fifth place.
