The foreign minister's response was no different from that of Serzh
Sargsyan. Touching upon the latest developments of the process of the
Nagorno-Karabakh conflict resolution at YSU, Minister Edward Nalbandyan
repeated what Serzh Sargsyan said during the ambassadorial meeting.

In response to a student's question, Minister Nalbandyan underlined
that we had reached a landmark where the mediators, the international
community and Armenia, which has the same position as they do, believed
that the Basic Principles presented through Russia's intermediation
and by the Co-Chairs at the meeting in Kazan could serve as a basis
for the NK conflict resolution, but progress wasn't made due to
    Azerbaijan's destructive position.

According to the minister, the same thing happened at the summits in
March 2011 in Sochi, October 2010 in Astrakhan and June 2010 in June
    when Azerbaijan impeded the conciliation.

In the past couple of years, according to the established tradition,
RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan visited YSU on Knowledge Day and
delivered a speech in front of the first-year students and professors.

In his speech, Minister Nalbandyan congratulated the first-year
students of YSU on getting accepted and the first day of classes and
wished them success, reports the MFA press service.
