STUDENTS FROM ARMENIA REPUBLIC CALL ON CM

Dehradun, Aug. 11 -- A team of five girls-students learning Hindi
language coming from Armenia Republic called on the Chief Minister
of Uttarakhand Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' at Annexie on Thursday.
These students are learning Hindi in Bhasha Vigyan University at
Armenia and are on a 10-day educational tour of India. Ema, one of the
members of the team presented Hindi song; Angelona, the other member
performed Indian Classical Dance; and Neeli impressed everyone with
poetry-recitation. Sumiana presented Armenian folk-dance.Admiring
the act of learning of Hindi language by the foreign children, CM Dr.
Nishank said that by cultural-exchange between different countries,
the feeling of Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam got strengthened. Admiring the
Indian Culture and tradition of knowledge, the CM hoped that the
foreign guests would learn a lot from it. OSD Bhasha Sansthan Dr.
Savita Mohan, guide- teacher of the foreign team Dr. Amita Verma
